## Projects

### RelyCare

Software for speech-language pathologists. Began with a $3,000+ custom software proposal to a speech therapy clinic through Oryind. The deal fell through. After speaking to 50-something therapists, Adham shifted from documentation toward patient progress over time and supporting evidence.

### Oryind

A software studio for businesses. Adham found clients, scoped their needs and built the software. Its profits funded RelyCare.

### ShatterLabs

Game studio started in 2025. A 12-person unpaid team, including a Supercell engineer; a community of 16,000+ and around 2,000 beta signups in 48 hours. Adham later moved on.

### Yamaha USB MIDI interface

First hardware project. Existing MIDI cables did not work with his specific Yamaha model, so he reverse-engineered the communication and built an Arduino-based interface.

### Blast Royale Discord bot

Built around 2022–2023 for ranked play, scrims and win tracking where the game lacked those features. Used in a gaming community of 60k+ members. This figure is community size, not a verified count of bot users. The game subsequently shut down.

## Accuracy notes

- The $3,000+ RelyCare quote was not a completed sale.
- 60k+ describes the Blast Royale community, not bot users.
- 16,000+ community members and around 2,000 beta signups belong to ShatterLabs, not RelyCare.
- No birth date, current revenue, funding valuation or exact Yamaha model is provided.
- The black-boxes essay is labelled a draft and is not included in this context.

## Original notes

### the quote that went nowhere

before RelyCare, i ran Oryind. found clients, figured out what they needed, built the software, dealt with everything else. it made money. that money eventually went into RelyCare.

a speech therapy clinic came to me about tracking sessions and patient progress. i treated it like any other job. wrote a proposal. quoted $3,000+ for a private version of what would become RelyCare.

the deal fell through.

i kept thinking about it. started talking to therapists. ended up talking to 50-something of them over the next few months. what happened between sessions. what they couldn’t keep track of. what they didn’t trust software to do. what they needed to see in a patient’s history.

the first version was mostly documentation. but getting notes written wasn’t the whole problem. they needed to understand what was happening to a patient over time, with evidence to back it up.

so i changed what i was building.

### messy. worked.

none of the MIDI cables worked with my specific Yamaha model. so i reverse-engineered the MIDI communication and made one myself with an arduino.

been playing piano since i was about 8. i can listen to something and play it back. i’m not that good though. i’ll play for a while, then forget about it for a while. just something i do from time to time.

### gta, apparently

something like gta. i was 14 or 15.

gave up almost immediately.

### ranked, through discord

around 2022–23, i made a discord bot for Blast Royale. the game had no ranked mode and hosting scrims was a pain. so i built ranked, scrims, and win tracking through discord.

it was used by a gaming community with 60k+ people at the time.

the game shut down.
